This update is some kind of a joke. I'm having problems every 10-15 minutes with the way AE displays content and need to relaunch again... So many years gone by and this software is still so not stable :/
I agree, actually I liked better the 2014 version of AFX than the 2015 updates. I still have that version installed, so I guess I'll stick with that for now... still disappointing that I had errors with the newest one anyways.
My preview window stays blank, I have to continuously clear disk cache and relaunch. Sometimes this is successful and other times not. I have 2 sequences that used to display fine (multiple layers each with a vector mask) - now after the update I cannot get the display to show anything. It stays black - even switching background transparency on and off on this sequence keeps the viewport black. On other comps the layers are displaying in the wrong sequence (top layer now showing below a bottom layer - after restart it's fixed for a while)
There must be an issue with the rendering framework of this update
I am seriously considering downloading Nuke, Fusion or even Natron and re-animate the sequence. The nightmare of trying to roll-back this install is just to daunting.
Duplicating and then Deleting the old comp worked for a while. But after moving a mask and then pressing undo the old preview is displayed and not he updated view
I am having the same problem with both AE and Premiere.
Definitely UNDO - I cannot use undo which I am constantly using in my workflow - Clearing memory takes time, 10 to 20 seconds
Pressing undo moves the properties but the rasterized update does not display the change - I have to clear memory
We regret for the trouble, you are experiencing.
We have reported the issue to the concerned team and it seems that it is happening mainly with the machine having AMD Phenom II processors.
Hope this get fix soon.

For the time being, I would suggest to toll back to the previous version of CC2015
I hope this helps you: Install a previous version of any Creative Cloud application
I'm having the EXACT same problem.
And when I undo a keyframe, no redo is possible?
What's up with that?
sorry but i'm experimenting the same problems, and my configuration is:
Win 8.1 (up to date)
AE Up to date
Nvidia 980 Ti V1 6Go (drivers up to date)
i7 5820k 3.3GHz
32 Go Ram
No ATI or AMD devices on board !
Sorry about this confusion.
But I was specifically talking about Premiere Pro crash at Launch (with AMD processors).
I got the same problem, well we all have it (my co-workers)
it's frustrating like hell and hinders the workflow
Also no AMD in my system all Intel i7 and Nvidia 980
Is this the development quality we are now to expect coming from Adobe - Really disappointing . If I want to keep on using Adobe's new cloud-platform I will have to update on a test system in the future.
how can You release this kind of update ?
AMD Phenom II User
Same problem on my side.
How long will this take to get fixed. I will miss my deadline.
My workstation specs:
Win 10 64 bit
Nvidia Gtx 980 ti
So no AMD, problem is global and very critical.
Download previous version of Adobe, that's the best solution for now If you are in hurry. Stick with 2014 for now... saddly.
regarding the issues of image information being incorrect after Undo or delete or similar operations:
We are very keen to isolate the causes of these issues. We have a couple of engineers visiting someone having this problem tomorrow so that they can debug the issue.
Please, submit detailed bug reports here:
If you provide your contact information, we'll be reaching out to some of you.
The issue is that the information held by the render thread is getting out of synch with the information held by the UI thread. This kind of problem can be worked around by either restarting the application or purging the caches---either of which forces a re-synchronization of these sets of information.
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T
Win 7 64bit
All works fine, till the last Update.
I am so sick and tired of bugs in this new update... now I have to go to the premiere forum and post there... setting keyframes in the effects control panel applies the effect 50 frames away from the point in time...
I simply do not have the time or patience to submit a bug report or document the problem!!!
I am having the same issue,
My machine is a 6 core Xeon with 32gb of ram, Win 7 and pressing undo does not show the updated properties.
