Upgrading from retail version of LR5 to 2015 CC

    peusdonym

      Hi and hello.

I finally decided to pull the trigger to get the new Lightroom.

However, I currently have a retail version of LR5 installed.

Should I completely remove the current LR before install the new one?

If I don't, will it be upgraded or both of them will co-exist in my computer?

Same question goes to my Adobe Audition.

      Thanks

          Hi peusdonym

When you will install Lightroom CC

It will Prompt you to upgrade your catalog(only default) to Lightroom CC

Simply Click Yes and you are done.

Should I completely remove the current LR before install the new one?If I don't, will it be upgraded or both of them will co-exist in my computer?

It is a good to have both the versions installed on your computer as both will have separate installs and catalogs

If you have a Plenty of space on your Primary harddrive. Keep version 5 installed.

If your computer is running low on space .You could safely uninstall it.

Same question goes to my Adobe Audition.

Same scenario applies to Audition as well.It would be still best to ask a question on Audition CS5.5, CS6 & CC
