What version of Premiere Elements, what computer operating system?
What are the properties of what you are trying to export? Giving the brand/model/settings of the camera that recorded the video often gives the important troubleshooting information that we need. Also include the file extension.
What are the project settings that were established to match the properties of your source files? See Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the reading for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame size, and Pixel Aspect Ratio (even if the field look grayed out)?
What is your export choice, and what are the export settings? In the export dialog, what is given as duration of the export and its estimated file size?
Also, please give us an idea of your computer's resources.
