The script linked in post one of this thread will allow you to automatically adjust table column widths to match - it lets you save the widths from one table into the table style, and then apply them to other tables of that style. I don't know about the heights, but if all the heights will be the same in a given table, you can select all the rows, and enter the exact cell height.
Hello and thank you for this really quick answer!
The Script sounds more than great, but I can't get it running
in InDesign CC 2015.
I placed the two files in the right folders and followed the instructions,
but AutoSpalte2.jsxbin always opens in ExtendScript toolkit and I am asked for the type of language then.
Unfortunately that's all that happens.
It might be my stupidness, but do you have one more hint for me?
Thank you so much!
I am using it in CC2015 with no problems. Does it appear in your Scripts panel within InDesign?
another thought -- you have to quit InDesign and restart it for the script to load the first time.
Thank you SO much! It didn't work after Indesign restart, but after a complete restart of the computer it works perfectly!
You made my night a little less long
