when i print a full page pdf (made in indesign) i always have a border around the page that isn't printed on. i've tried multiple printers, different settings in indesign (such as gutter, bleed, etc) and even messed around with different printing settings (full page, custom, etc...) HELP!?
I think you're seeing the border that shows the page dimension. You need to add a border (stroke) if you actually want a border on your page.

Most desktop printers cannot print a full bleed. A quarter-inch or so of unprinted area around the page is normal. If you need a full bleed, you'll have to set up with the bleed and include it in the PDF, then print to a larger sheet and trim.
