Mac OS 10.11.1, Lightroom 6
Thanks for the response.
I’m glad to have the updated version, but no help. Same message:
1. The color profile you have selected is sRGB.
2. That all original image files are available. ie. No images 'Missing' ! from the Lightroom library.
Regarding color profile selection, I'm sending this to a printing service (Blurb), not a personal printer. I'm confused about how and where to select color profile when doing it this way.
Regarding availability of image files. It took me awhile to get that right. Kept having 1 of 243 photos not being recognized. My final solution for that was to export all the photos as JPEG from external drive I was using to the drive on my laptop (where my LR lives). Then imported to LR, made a new collection, and got rid of the . Thought it would be clear sailing after that but now the rendering problem when I try to export either to PDF or Blurb.
sending this to a printing service (Blurb)
and you should be sending the images as sRGB.
There is much talk on the internet about using CMYK and even Blurb can supply a CMYK profile, but that is not for us.
Blurb does its own sRGB to CMYK conversion specific to the printer it might be using.
So in summary- Export or send images as sRGB!
