    Importing from catalog, stuck "updating stacks."


      Finally getting around to creating one MASTER catalog, after 10 years of working with individuals (for each year).


      1/3 way through, was working great, but then import got stuck, reporting "updating stacks." I gave it 15 minutes, but no progress, so tried to cancel. Now stuck "cancelling..."


      I've always been weary of the idea of "one-catalog-to-rule-them-all" approach, exactly for such reasons.


      Any thoughts on why I'm seeing this?


      Will start over, but sure would like to know what I might be doing wrong. I will start with the in question catalog I'm importing from, see if it is the problem, before redoing everything.
