    .cfm pages in DW?

    StargrrlMedia Level 1
I have a client who'd like me take over updating their her other website. It was coded in ColdFusion by a programmer. Im not familiar with cfm but I'd like to open up the pages in Dreamweaver to make simple edits to the color of the interface. Is this going to mess up the pages?

      TIA,
      Amelia

Nope, not at all, as long as you are careful in what you edit, and can
follow the logic of the code. If it's just basic fonts/colours, etc, you
should be fine to mod the code, or even the style sheet - if he used one.

You should be aware that if any of these colours are inline and within a
ColdFusion code block then you will need to escape the # or CF will
            throw an error. So...

            #000

            becomes

            ##000

            when within CF code blocks.
