I've been looking into this a little more in attempts to solve the problem. I am new to Adobe Edge. I knew I wanted to make random blinking with an object on the screen (think stars in the sky), so I searched for tutorials I how I could add a random action. I found one similar and followed the instructions. The animation in the tutorial works after I import the JS library from Adobe Edge Commons, however, there's a caveat. The animation only works after I stop script on the page. If I publish the animation as HTML, it won't open in Chrome or IE. If I publish the animation as a .oam and use it in Adobe Muse, it crashes Firefox when I preview the page. When I am in Edge, the animation doesn't work at all in preview if the imported JS library is not there. Has anyone else had this experience with Preview in a Browser in Edge?
What versions of EA and EC are you using?
and how are you loading them.
One thing to be careful with, is that Animate does not always add the scripts in an oam file. I would make sure the scripts are in the js folder.
EA CC 2015.
The first animation that I made and used in Muse worked fine. This funny stuff happened on my second animation when I added JS to the stage. Am I falsely assuming that Preview in Browser just works in Edge in this situation or are there added steps after writing the code and importing the JS library?
