Please Follow the Solution below
- Go To Edit>>Preference>>Performance>>Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" , restart lightroom
If this does not solves the issue then,
2. With Lightroom closed
- Navigate to
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences (Where AppData is a hidden/system folder so you may need to enter the folder name directly into your Explorer address bar or enable hidden/system folders in Explorer folder view options.)
- Open the file LightroomPreferences.agprefs
- Search for the line Use autobahn=True(Press CTRL+F)
- Change it to Use Autobahn=False
Once Done save the File
Thank you for the advice. I have unchecked the graphics processor and restarted multiple times. However lightroom is still crashing when opening video files. After changing the settings in the .agprefs file I am able to open the preferences and settings dialogue boxes so there is some improvement.
I have the same problem, I tried the solutions proposed but it doesn't work. Please help.
You need to make sure that Your Graphics card is up to date.
