    _level0.<instance name>

    LISTi
I have created a dynamic text instance whose name is feedback_txt and attached to it a global text variable called feedback.

However, on stage it displays _level0.feedback instead of the value of the global variable feedback.

      What am I doing wrong?

Not sure what you mean by "attached it to a global text variable" -- do
you mean the Var field of the Property inspector?

What displays this? The text field itself?

          > What am I doing wrong?

Not sure yet. I'm not sure what you mean by global variable.
There's a special _global object in ActionScript ... did you make your text
a property of that object? Let's see your code.
