I've not found one, but I'd love to have a way to organize my huge list of custom sizes (accumulated over the years) into a logical list, instead of the freeform list it currently is.
Adobe InDesign crew - hopefully you've got something like this in the works. It drives this OCD guy a bit crazy :-)
Yes you can do it when you make a new document. CMD N and then make your wishes and before you click OK, you kan at the top click on the Save button.
After that they wil stand in the list when you want to create a new page.
Document presets seem to be stored in the InDesign Defaults file in your prefs. I've never found a way to sort them other than to use the Define dialog and select them one at a time and save to an external file, then delete the InDesign Defaults file, restart ID, and use the Define dialog again to load the saved presets one at a time in the order you want them. Once that's done you can select them all in the Define dialog and export as a set for backup.
