I recently had to wipe my Mac. After doing a restore from my backup, Indesign will not open. It gives me the following message:
"Adobe InDesign is missing required files. Please reinstall.
Missing file: /library/Application Support/Adobe/TrpeSupport/.../ROMAN.TXT"
The Adobe chat person I contacted cannot help me how to do this as he says my version Indesign CS4 is not supported any more.
Does anyone know how to get the file, and where to put it?
Adobe programs don't do well with migration or restore.
You can download the full program from here, and re-activate it with your serial number
It would be best if you used the Creative Cloud Cleaner to remove all traces of the migrated software, and then start over.
Despite the name, it also works with Creative Suite back to version 3
