it is date format in united states
perhaps the version of your indesign is English (North America)?
Thanks for your response.
I don't think so, all my menus are in French... But, to be sure, I can check. Where can I see this information in InDesign ?
well if the version of your indesign is french you have to modify the date format in the system preferences
for example take a look here how you can do it
Great! As you said, I just changed the date format in my system preferences and it works!
Thank you so much!
premio_oscar, I was a little bit too enthusiastic...
Your solution did work on my personal computer but not on my computer at work...
Whatever I change in my system preferences, the date format is still "mm/dd/yyyy".
Do you have any other solution please ?
you have to log on with administrator account
try to click on "Paramètres supplementaires" and then control "date formats".
There should to be dd/mm/yyyy
Maybe in french jj/MM/aaaa
if the problems are not resolved you should contact a windows forums
I finally found the solution!
In my system preferences, in "Clock, language and region", I had to go in "Administration".
Then I click on "copy parameters". And then, I selected the two options at the end "copy your actual settings in:": "homescreen and system accounts" and "new user accounts". I clicked on "OK".
I don't know why but now, it works!
Thanks for your help!
