Whoops - Windows 7 Pro (64 bit.)
- Please go to the Device Manager of Windows, from there expand Display Adapters.
- Disable the graphic card and then open Lightroom , go to the preferences of Lightroom , then the Performance tab and uncheck the option for " Use Graphics Processor " .
- Close Lightroom and go back to the Device Manager and enable the Display Adapter.
- Open Lightroom and then work in Lightroom and check if it works fine.

Could you please uninstall and reinstall Lightroom once.
that appears to have solved it. Thanks.
You are Welcome, Glad to help.
Update - apparently appearances can be deceiving. Seemed to have fixed the problem for a couple of cycles but now it is back. I worked on LR this morning, closed it and did a backup on the way to the closure and got the same crash message. Tried opening and closing wo backup and still get the crash notice.
Could you please attach the Event Viewer log.
Maybe this was an anomaly? I restarted my computer and so far I've not had a repeat. If it happens again I will go for the event viewer log and post it.
Sure, please attach the Event Viewer log if the application crashes again.
