What is the thick blue dashed border about?

I opened a document created with ID cs6. Some of the grouped anchored objects now have a thick blue dashed line around them. The dashed line does not print (whew!). It is not the usual object indicator, a thin dotted black line. It is always present. Not all of those objects are so outlined. The objects are typically a grouped image and text frame.

To remove the blue line I have tried:

      - Shown/hidden all of the items in View::Extras

      - Released the anchored object

      - Changed various border/stroke settings

None of the above removed the blue line.

Does anyone know what the blue dashed line indicates?
