Main Question I used to record video clips on my camera in MPEG. And make regular PAL videos for TV All Good. Now have Apple MAC and the quality of playing back MPEG is poor. So changed camera setting to AVCHD. This improved play back quality on MAC and imported into Abode catalogue OK . But will PE cope with this and as I don't have a BLUE Ray burner, can I still make regular DVDs? Related questions .... you may be able to help with..but don't worry if you don't know this, as can just use Adobe for now.. The MAC only sees the AVCHD content on the card as one "item", its not in DCIM folder , but AVCHD " folder" and won't copy and paste it into a folder. But Photoshop imports them OK and puts them in my selected folder, but then I cannot view them via Finder. QuickTime cannot be selected to Open with.Is there a way to handle this as seperate files and open in Finder? Thanks Chris
Absolutely! In fact, AVCHD is one of the most ideal formats for editing in Premiere Elements.
And you can output your finished movie as a BluRay or DVD as well as a number of other formats.
Steve Thanks. Will move forward now. Chris
