I have a paid CC account on my PC, running Lightroom and Photoshop. I have installed the creative CC desktop application onto my laptop with the intention of using the apps when travelling. However, it appears that my Adobe account on my laptop recognises me by a different email address. I want to change the email address so that it is the same one used with my account on the PC (the passwords are identical on both the PC and laptop). Obviously, this issue prevents the laptop CC account recognising that I have a paid account.
I can't find a way to do this in 'manage account'. I'd be grateful for a solution if there is one?
Can you launch the applications? If so, have you tried using the top menu:
Help >> Sign Out
You should see your email address
Then try Help >> Sign in (using the correct ID)
All fixed now. It didn't help that when consolidating the two accounts to one email ID, I made a typo in the address and clicked on 'save' before I realised.
