1. Re: C4D object imported into Element3d has 'holes' where Booles are placed (screenshots attached)
Rick Gerard Dec 14, 2015 7:38 AM (in response to blu67)Useful screenshots include the app UI and some details about the project. It looks like the buttons have the same color texture as then background. Impossible to tell if we can't see the transparent grid or the UI of C4D with the property details of the area giving you problems revealed.

blu67 Dec 14, 2015 7:49 AM (in response to Rick Gerard)Hm I'm not sure what to show exactly. Sorry Im a beginner in C4D. I don't see how a screenshot of my c4d interface would help. Perhaps showing my objects panel and how I created the boole will help? The buttons do not have the same colour texture. They are simply holes in the object, but they should not be going through to the other side. Those screenshots are taken from within AE (not in c4d), and the blue color on the buttons IS the separate background layer in AE showing through.

Szalam Dec 16, 2015 12:05 PM (in response to blu67)That is due to the normals of your model - how the boole creates them and how E3D interprets them. The easiest solution would probably be to use the "Make editable" command in C4D, then align your normals correctly.
