Please open stock website, login to your stock account, select the image click on "license and save to desktop "
It will download image to downloads folder in your machine.
Once downloaded, please open download folder and copy and past image to desktop and open it with Photoshop or Illustrator ( depending upon image format Jpeg /.Ai)
Your stock images are ready for use.
Also please follow below link for selfhelp.
Further , please update Photoshop and illustrator from creative cloud desktop app for any other issue.

But how come it will not work when I click
Save Preview to Desktop, yet it WILL work
when I click on SavePreview to MyLibrary.
I want to be sure that the files exist if I do
license them! This does not instill confidence.
I am downloading watermarked previews for approval.
I will license them when approved.
And by the way, you have to be logged into Creative Cloud
anyhow, in order to use this functionality.

Please try to switch browsers to get on to stock website and download images.
Also confirm , format of the image ( peg, ai,eps) you are downloading.
