Does your OS and system meet the system requirements for Character Animator?
To my knowledge yes
4th Gen i7 quad core
Also the adobe updater tool shows no updates pending
There's a FAQ that addresses this (https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1872346), but specific steps to try just to be sure:
1. quit all Adobe apps.
2. in the Creative Cloud application's preferences, click Sign Out.
3. restart machine (just to be sure), but probably just needs to quit/restart the Creative Cloud application.
4. sign into the Creative Cloud application.
5. wait ~1 minute.
6. try relaunching AE and then CH.
Let us know if you are still running into this issue.
I have tried that also to no luck
