    Lightroom 6 constantly crashing on iMac & Macbook (GP unchecked)

      Hi there, I use Lightroom on both my PC and laptop. On my computer it seems to work ok but occasionally crashes here and there.

      I have already unchecked the graphics processor and it hasn't stopped the crashes, although the photos do seem to load a little faster. (Can I please just mention here, I never had an issue with v5, but v5 doesn't read the data from my newer camera).

      Anyway, Lightroom was working on my laptop good enough that I didn't want to throw it against a wall, however last week it started getting pretty buggy and would constantly crash on me, or wouldn't want to load any photos/slideshows, but after I force closed Lightroom and restarted my computer and it seemed to work fine until yesterday..

      I have been unable to load a single photo without Lightroom crashing and the slideshow refuses to load, instead the whole program freezes and requires a force close. I am also constantly being prompted to sign into Lightroom mobile.

      My computers have the latest Adobe updates and I am just installing El Captain onto the macbook now, although I don't see how it will effect how Lightroom runs..

      Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do to resolve it?

          What devices(Externally:-Harddrive,Phone,Tablet ) do you have connected to your computer when you use Lightroom?

          Please share Help>>System info from Lightroom with us.

          Also post the crash report.

            Here is the system info from my iMac. I will have to reply again from my macbook to give the system info for that one. I do not use any external devices with Lightroom so it seemed odd that it just began prompting me to log-in. I don't have any crash reports to share right now, but my laptop actually freezes (for hours on end) and generally leaves no crash report because I have to force close the program, but if it does I send the report to Adobe when prompted..

                Check OpenGL support: Passed

                On one computer(one with El captain installed)  you still  have GPU enabled under Lightroom>>Preferences>>Performance

                Try disabling it and check

                  So odd because the box is unchecked when I check the preferences?? Also Lightroom on my macbook is inexplicably working again..?

                  I will restart my computer and see if the box becomes checked again, thank-you
