I would request you to please install Adobe Application Manager first from the following link : Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager
Also once the above installation is done, please install the updates for Lightroom manually from the following link : Keeping Lightroom Up-to-Date
Ok, I gave that a try. When I try to run the AdobePatchInstaller, The Adobe Application Manager window opens, but nothing happens. The only thing that is different this time is that I can click on the X in the upper right hand corner and it will then add (Not Responding) Next to where it says Adobe Application Manager, and when my mouse cursor is anywhere in the window for the Application Manager it is a little circle that keeps spinning. When I move it out of the window, I get my regular arrow mouse cursor back.
When I tried doing it from within Lightroom, I actually get a list of updates that are available, it shows me Lightroom CC/6 update – November 2015 220 MB.
I clicked update from there and it started to download the updates. I followed the prompts and it allowed me to do the update that way.
I am now running version 6.3. Thank You for your assistance.
You are Welcome, please uninstall Adobe Application Manager once from the Control Panel, and then reinstall it from the link that I had provided above.
We are all good now. Again, Thank you for the help.
You are Welcome, Glad to help.
