What do you mean by don't know how to run it?
You should click on it to install it, then run the program.
Do you have problem with installing it?
I haven't tried installing an AIRI file yet. But anywho... That's not my dillemma. My problem is that I can't CREATE an AIR file from within Dreamweaver.
You can't install an AIRI file. You need to sign it first to make an AIR file.
You need to make sure you get a valid digital certificate and your password is correct.
This looks like a problem in reading your code signing certificate. To check this you can run the ADT tool from the command line using the -checkstore option:
adt -checkstore -storetype pkcs12 -keystore yourCert.p12
See AIR ADT tool.
A possible error here is that you did not include the private key when you exported the certificate to the file. Both the certificate and the associated private key need to be in the keystore file.
I've typed in the correct password and everything. still no luck.
What did the adt -checkstore command report?
said "valid password"
Okay, then the cert should be good. Now take the ,airi file you created earlier and try to sign it with ADT:
adt –sign -storetype pkcs12 -keystore cert.p12 unsignedMyApp.airi myApp.air
(using the same options for storetype and keystore that you used with -checkstore).
