‌Does anyone know if we'll have the ability to discern tap pressure (3D Touch) with our Air apps?  I develop with Flash Pro CC and know some games that could use this feature.

Hi,

We have developed 3DTouch ANE which supports shortcut item and pressure sensitivity feature of 3D Touch.

Please go through the Link: AIR Native Extension for iOS | 3D Touch

Please try to use that and share your valuable feedback to us.

Thanks,

Adobe AIR Team

Hi Abhishek,

Feedback is - the ANE is great, HOWEVER it doesn't report an X/Y coordinate back with the pressure value when the screen is pressed.... That makes use limited!

Thanks

It's unlikely AIR will support that any time soon since it's not a recurring feature on many touchscreens, once it becomes mainstream AIR will probably support it so until then ANE is the only solution.
