If you do not want to purchase the Complete Creative Cloud membership, you could also purchase the single application membership that we have.
You can run both subscriptions (Photography Plan + Single app membership for illustrator) under the same email address.

It's nice to know that I could pay for 2 separate plans at once in order to customize my options a little.
But I'm still wondering if there is anyway to upgrade a plan. If I had the photography plan for a year starting today and then next month decided I would rather have access to it all (now that I know the limitations of the cheaper plan). Is there no way to end that photography plan even in order to continue paying for the same programs under a more expensive membership?
Could you please provide the present order number by private messaging so that I can check about the upgrades available for you.
Unfortunately the Adobe ID of the forum has no CC registered to it.
I haven't purchased any subscription yet. I'm using this forum as my only way of gathering information on my planned purchase.
I want to buy photoshop. I also might need illustrator. I don't know yet.
If I purchase the photography plan I will have photoshop for the best price. However; since it is only offered in annual subscriptions, unlike the other plans which offer monthly, I want to know my options for adding illustrator during that year if I decide to.
It was already mentioned that I can pay for both the photography plan as well as a single program subscription to achieve that. My only thought is that once I'm paying for both subscriptions I'm paying 40 a month for the use of 3 programs. Why not just pay 50 for access to 20+? Though if I can do everything I need for 10, then that is preferable.
So. Can I make the leap from the photography plan to CC during my annual subscription to the photography plan without having to pay for both plans?
It's okay if someone tells me no. I just want to be informed.
We only have plans available for Creative Cloud complete membership, Photography Plan and the single application membership.
It is definitely best to get all Creative Cloud products by paying 49.99 each month.
However these are the only options that we have available for Creative Cloud subscriptions.
Can I end an annual photography plan before the end of the subscription by switching to the more comprehensive and expensive CC subscription? Or would I have to pay for both subscriptions?
I'm just gonna ask this to the forum as a whole again. I really need a straight answer before I start any subscription.
If you upgrade to a Creative Cloud annual plan, you won’t incur a cancellation charge on your existing plan. Upon upgrading, you receive a refund for the unused portion of your previous membership. Here’s how: FAQ: How do I change to a different Creative Cloud plan
