Please try the following steps :

- Please Go to the Preferences > Performance Tab, and uncheck "Use Graphics Processor "
- Restart Lightroom and see if it works.
Also please check the following article : How to improve and speed up Photoshop Lightroom performance
Thanks but unfortunately disabling the graphics processor did not help. When I click on a video clip in the Lightroom grid view it zooms into the clip right away but It takes at least 20 seconds for the clip and start to play. Often the clip will not play at al in Lightroom.
Did you increase the size of the Video Cache, and Camera Raw cache ?
No I did not. The cache sizes were set at 2 GB for Camera Raw and 3 GB for Video with limit video cache size checked . I doubled the cache size for camera raw to 4 GB and unchecked Limit video cache size. I am rendering a wedding video currently so the processor is quite busy already but when it is done rendering I will let you know if there is any difference
Sure, also please increase the size of the Video Cache once.
I Increased the size of the video cache as well. It is really odd some videos seem more responsive but sometimes the video won't load within Lightroom unless I click on it a few times from the grid view. It does seem to be more responsive with the increased Cache size but still not as good as it used to be.
Could you please check and let me know the size of the videos that show in finder.
