I am trying to install flash player and I keep getting a message to close mdhsun before installing.  I figured out that this was some kids thing that I don't use which wasn;t even running at the time.  I uninstalled it and restarted my computer but I'm still getting the same error message.  Thanks

Hi,

According to mdhpSUN.exe Windows process - What is it? this process appears to be associated with Easybits Group software.  If Flash Player was prompting to terminate this process for installation to continue a process for it was running in the background even though you didn't have the software open.  Depending on the installation type, Flash Player does require any process that is using it to be terminated for Flash Player to uninstall the existing version and install the version being attempted.  You an terminate the process via Task Manager in Windows or Activity Monitor in OS X.

  1. Launch Task Manager or Activity Monitor
  2. Ensure that 'display process for all users' is selected
  3. Locate the process in question
  4. Terminate the process
  5. Proceed with Flash Player installation
