Thanks for your reply, this is a document I had trouble with:
Page 1 the logos at the bottom of the page are vectors and they look
really blurry, the squiggly lines under the heading are just indesign lines
and they look blurry, this is something that occurs throughout the whole
Page 10 and other pages again the squiggly line is a vector and is blurry.
Page 18 and other pages the social media and other icons were vectors and
were really blurry, but I created a custom font and fixed this issue as well
as the hyperlink issue I had.
Page 80 the vector logos at the bottom right are blurry
Page 83 again the vector logos and illustrations are blurry.
Is there a way to make them look sharp?
Thanks for sharing the document.
Yeah I can see vector graphic is blurred. I am not sure if you can do anything as of now to improve the quality, as we have this limitation for smaller graphics/texts.
But i'll surely escalate your request further to see what can be done.
To improve the logo images I would suggest to change the Object Export settings.
- Create an Object Styles for those graphics.
- Select “EPUB and HTML”.
- Change to rasterize content, format PNG, resolution to 300ppi
- Apply it to frames with vector content.
This will improve these items in Publish Online.
@ Monica Singh: It would be great if vector graphics could be converted to SVG instead of different raster images for this purpose.
Thanks for this tip, it works much better.
InDesign can¹t seem to import an svg though.
Hi there, did anyone find a solution to this issue?
i have a full page map and it is quite blurry when I use the publish online function. I have tried the object styles, png, ai, eps but none work well. The text and vector graphics are blurry
in this regard nothing has changed over the last year with Publish Online.
