Are there any other tutorials for Adobe Illustrator Draw? I am interested in drawing with the perspective tool.
We are working on a series of tutorials for Draw and Sketch, but right now there are still only a few. I honestly don't know what the plan is for doing a tutorial on the perspective tools.
I'm trying to figure out the arrows that appear when you've got a perspective grid in place. Whenever I add a shape, there is a small up/ down arrow toggle but I can't tell what they are for or how to make use of them.
Sorry for taking so long to respond. Those little arrows are to change the vanishing point. Try using them by dropping a square (if you're on a shape that doesn't have straight lines the arrows are inactive) onto the canvas with the perspective grid.
Let me know if that helps.
Thanks for your response! Now that you've explained the intent of the arrows, I do see an effect when I drop the line shape on to the perspective grid: when I click the arrow, one of the lines snaps to the perspective and the arrows turn the snap on and off. I don't see or discover any effect with a square or triangle. If you have a moment to give me another hint, I'd appreciate it. The line tool works with the perspective grid in a very cool way thanks to the arrows!
Yes Sue, I'm new and have a problem.
I'm trying to export my sketches from iPad AdobeDraw app, to Adobe Illustrator CC by Creative Cloud, but the images only open in jpg or png.
That doesn't occurs with Photoshop where all is ok.
Maybe you know what can I do to export them like vectors.
I've looked for the export manager sending to Adobe Illustrator CC as well, but still occurs the same.
Thank you very much.
Thanks Sue, I've just responded you there.
