I have a new macbook air and took the opportunity to shift my photos from aperture to lightroom since apple has stopped supporting aperture, its advanced photo software.
I can see my photos fine and can edit them, but when I try to run slideshow all that I get is a black screen. Has anyone run into this and solved this problem? This is maddening as I have bought the manuals and followed the directions. There is nothing in the manuals on troubleshooting this problem. Help!!!
Could you please let me know the exact version of Lightroom you are working on ?
Thanks for asking. I just had the lastest one installed. It is the 2015.3 release is says on the About Lightroom CC popup and I am running it on a Mac OS 10 system version 10.9, so both totally new.
My intuition tells me that the black screen problem might relate to the "templates" and that importing my photos last week from Aperture to lightroom and switching programs might be the problem. But I have no real idea, nor any idea how to fix it.
