I'm moving to Lightroom 6 soon. I'd like to access my archived images while on location. I've got several terabytes of data and keeping the images locally on a machine is simply not working. I do a cloud based backup right now but it's really inconvenient for many reasons. I'd like to move to a cloud based storage of my library of images. So is it possible to get Lightroom 6 (or previous versions) to recognize a cloud based storage system as a drive? I also need suggestions about which cloud storage services to use. I'm on a budget so something simple and inexpensive would be good. I think of Google Drive for Work and Amazon Cloud. Any suggestions there as well?
In order for cloud based storage to work with Lightroom, you have to be able to access the cloud drive as either a local drive or as a network drive, and I don't know if either of those things are possible with Google Drive or Amazon Drive.
okay. i guess that's the correct term "network drive". i'll follow up with that term on the google drive for work forum. will paste results here when they get in.
