    Unable to create activex object from action script

      I'm a newbie to action scripting. In our web application we have a requirement to access MS-Outlook application - addressbook using vbscript. The code uses CreateObject function to create the activex object for this and calling the function from action script and the web page contains Flash controls UI

      Problem: The code works fine with these combinations [IE6 & Outlook 2003] , [IE6 & Outlook 2007] and [IE7 & Outlook 2007]. However, its NOT working in this [IE7 with Outlook 2003] combination. We get the error "Can't create activex object" in the below line

      "Set objOutlook = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")"

      **Code snippet below:**

      function OpenOLContacts2003()
      on error resume next
      Set objOutlook = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
      Set olemSession = objOutlook.CreateObject("MAPI.Session")
      ReturnCode = olemSession.Logon( "", "", False, False, 0 )

      Could anybody help on this? Is there any work around for this kinda problems?
