Did you get any error message while launching Lightroom?
Could you please help me with the following logs files:
No, I did not get any error messages, except when I renamed the SL
directories. In that case, I got an error 16, which was eliminated by
putting the original directories back to their original names since it did
not fix the problem. Other than that, I do not get any message of any kind.
I ran a search of my drive and the only log files found with those names
are in the Windows.old directory with a timestamp of before the Windows
upgrade. Those log files do not exist in the directories specified by the
link you provided.
I have also tried running the program straight from the Lightroom.exe
program and running it as administrator, with the same results.
I am having the same problem. Just ran the Visual Studio update per your suggestion. When I click on the Lightroom in Creative Cloud nothing happens. I uninstalled in and reinstalled it and still nothing. Photoshop CC will open, however
I have uninstalled the Windows 10 Pro upgrade since I have Christmas photos
for clients that must be processed and I cannot wait days for this issue to
be resolved. Uninstalling the Windows 10 Pro update did resolve the issue,
and Lightroom CC is now working as before...however I am without the latest
features, updates, and security patches for my operating system. Please
note in the Lightroom release notes which update will be compatible with
Windows 10 Pro so I will know when it is safe to upgrade my operating
system without losing my ability to run Lightroom CC.
Issue: Error MSVCR110.dll when opening Adobe apps in Windows 10 - ran solution for this
either this fix rectified the problem for me or the update that ran this morning for Lightroom
I uninstalled and deferred the upgrade to Windows 10 Pro by approximately 3 weeks (from Dec 20 2015 until today, Jan 10, 2016) and the upgrade no longer causes issues with Lightroom.
Thank you for your help!
