I run InDesign CS6 for Windows in the most recent desktop version. A colleague recently downloaded a trial Cloud version of InDesign CS6. We need to exchange files that we both work on.
I was surprised to get an error message that I can't open her files because hers are in a later version, Her version is CC v.11.1, while I run CS6 v.8.1.
I do understand the issues around backward compatibility between CS6 and earlier versions of InDesign. But this doesn't seem proper; my fully-paid most recent desktop version of InDesign should be compatible with the cloud version of InDesign. Why isn't it?
Those files were created in CC2015, not CS6.
