Could you please confirm which version of Lightroom do you have?
Is it updated?
Also, right click on Lightroom icon and choose run as administrator to test if that works.
Hi Chetna, I have lightroom 5.5 64 bites. I haven't update it. I'm going to try right click it and see if it can do a testrun as you said. I get back ro you after what it said.
I tried the things you said I should do but it worked when a popup window showed up, I clicked YES and after that, after a few seconds the whole computer freeze, I had to turn off the computer and start it again. I still ned Help!

The issue was resolved in a new administrator account and the catalog worked fine.
It was specific to the old user account.
