    Adjust table columns separately

Hi. I am on a MacBook Pro using InDesign CC.

I have a table and I was wondering if I need to make two tables or if I can work within the same one. Here is a screen shot of a sample. The top four rows shows a heading with 3 rows underneath. After that there is another heading, although I do not need the same amount of columns as above, however I would like to align the price columns, but where I have the blue circle (under Column 5), it is not needed on the bottom half of that table. I tried to do the vertically split option, but I may be doing that wrong. I double clicked just about in every cell under "Additional Columns dragged a column with the shift key "and didn't receive the result I was hoping for.

I know I could merge the cells in Col 4 and 5, but I was thinking of centering Col 3 and 4 so it looks something along the lines of this:
