so i made an animation in after effects and i want to use it in my muse website but i can't export from an aep to a swf. i watched a bunch of youtube videos and they all say to go to file>export>adobe flash player (swf). But on my version on after effects cc it seems that that option has been removed and the swf option isn't available on media encoder or on the render queue. And when i try to import it to flash to change it to a swf it says the only video format to import is a swf. so i don't know where else to turn or what else to do. it seems impossible just to export it as a swf.
Adobe removed a bunch of exporters in CC 2014 version of video/animation softwares. More on that here: removal of FLV and F4V export features from Adobe Media Encoder, After Effects, and Premiere Pro | After Effects regio…
They also removed swf exporter from AE: what’s new and changed in After Effects CC 2014 (13.0) | After Effects region of interest
So now if you wish to export file as swf you should:
a) use older version of AE than CC 2014
b) use Flash professional to change what you exported from AE to swf
that's I the most stupid ever done ADOBE
