I've been searching the forum for a solution to my problem, but have not found anything that specifically addresses my issue. I installed El Capitan about 2 weeks ago, so I don't know if this has anything to do with that because CS6 has been working fine. Today InDesign will not launch at all. The error is "Indesign has quit unexpectedly" and there is a long message to Apple. I have been working with it successfully all last week. Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Bridge all work fine as of today. I tried installing Java 6 and restarting my computer, with no avail. Thank you!
CS6 is not supported under El Capitan. We’ve seen complaint after complaint about that combination here.
You can try trashing your preferences https://forums.adobe.com/thread/526990?start=0 <https://forums.adobe.com/thread/526990?start=0&tstart=0> &tstart=0.
Beyond that, I’m afraid you’re on your own. CS6 has reached end of life and will not be updated.
Wow. I was beginning to get that feeling...
Why was it working for 2 weeks? Why are the other programs still working? I will try the suggestions.
