Lightroom 6 is a part of the Adobe CC apps.
So how can I get it? I have an older Mac and how do I get the new Lightroom on my OSX version 10.7.5?

You can download the Lightroom application from the CC desktop app.
I would also advise you to go through the System requirements for Photoshop Lightroom for Mac and Windows OS
Hope that helps!
how do I get the new Lightroom on my OSX version 10.7.5?
Lightroom 6 will not run on OS X 10.7.5. It requires OS X 10.8 or later
Lightroom 6.2 requires OS X 10.9 or later.
So you'll either have to upgrade your operating system or get a new computer in order to run Lightroom 6/CC.
Which camera make and model are your RAW files from?
I will be most grateful if you can help. I really don't want to get a whole new computer to work for this camera. Thank you very much. Carolyn

The A7RII was first supported in Lightroom 6.1.1.
- Upgrade to Lightroom 6.3 (current) - means operating system upgrade or new computer.
- Download the free Adobe DNG Converter, convert all A7RII Raw files to DNG format then edit the DNG files in Lightroom 5

One other minor bit of info in case its helpful. Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC are the same product. Lightroom 6 is the standalone version version (uses a serial number) and Lightroom CC is included with Creative Cloud. The difference is the Lightroom CC includes access to LR mobile and its related features. This page shows an overview of the differences - Compare Lightroom CC vs. versions 5 & 6 | Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC history
I'm in the same position as LeroyBrown4 in that I my version of LR will not open Panasonic G7 raw files. I have just installed a trial version of Adobe CC and the version installed is 5.7.1 with Camera Raw version 8.7.1.
However, I am running 32bit Windows 7 rather than a Mac.
The system requirements (link in the thread above) state that Lightroom 6 requires a 64bit Intel or AMD processor. But then again, it says that for Lightroom 5 too ....and clearly that's not the case because I'm running LR 5 now.
So what's the crack here?
