    HTML to InDesign

I have a online website rich text editor that saves user-entered content to the database in the form of HTML and CSS.

I'm looking for ways to convert HTML and CSS to InDesign content/IDML with correct styling using Script.

So that I won't need to re-invent the wheel, are there any existing ways to do that?

Or, perhaps instead of HTML to Indesign directly it could be:

        HTML/CSS > Intermediary Format > InDesign Content/IDML

Where Intermediary Format could be XML or the likes.

I worked with this problem back in 2008. My solution at this time was to use XSLT to convert from HTML to XML and then import the XML. Much depended on the structure of the HTML.

I would be interested in hearing from others who have worked with this problem.
