- First of all make sure you are up to date with LR CC
- Right click on your catalog and click on open with , select Lightroom
Let us know of this works.
Thanks for your quick response. No, right clicking didn't help. I had to open it from CC app.
If you look at Help>System Info and get your version number, it is likely you have accidentally opened an older version of Lightroom.
You are most likely opening a version of Lightroom 5, and it cannot work with a catalog created by either Lightroom 6 or Lightroom CC.
Please confirm the version NUMBER of Lightroom that you are opening. If necessary, create a new catalog so you can get into Lightroom, then go to the help menu and select About Adobe Photohsop Lightroom and see what version NUMBER is shown there.
Thanks, guys. I checked and it is the most recent version of Lightroom CC. I'd deleted all older versions of Lightroom (2, 4 & 5) earlier. I had to open Lightroom from CC apps and then import all the photos once again. Now occasionally I get a message that some other program is using this program and I've to choose between 'switch' or 'retry'. However, after choosing one of the options, I can open Lightroom CC. BTW, I'm using Windows 7 Home OS.
Thanks, guys. I checked and it is the most recent version of Lightroom CC.
Well ... that's not sufficient. What is the version NUMBER when you open this software and then go to the Help Menu and select About Adobe Photoshop Lightroom... ?
It is 2015.3
