Bought a high-end Logitech c920 to use with CA on my Mac Pro. No love. Keeps giving a "sample rate not supported". When I change the midi settings the max sample for the webcam mic is 32kHz but the other devices have a minimum of 44.1kHz . . . so methinks this is the issue but open to suggestions.
In the event O need to find an even better webcam that can record 44.1kHz or better audio, any recommendations for mac pro using CA?
Thanks for your patience while Adobe was closed over the holidays. I'll forward your issue to an engineer on the team.
Expect an answer back in 1-2 days.

Are you running Preview 3? I see that we fixed some issues around this area but it's possible we missed some. I’ll ask around to see if I can repro the problem locally. Have you tried checking “Attempt to force hardware to document sample rate” in Preferences > Audio Hardware?
As far as webcam recommendations, I’m not super familiar with what’s available as I mostly use the built-in one on my MacBook Pro. On my Windows box I use the HP HD4310 and have been happy with it. It also works out-of-the-box with my Mac machines.
