I'm on OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), and only the shortcut to set the beginning of a work area (option [ ) is working properly in PE14 (version 14.1) . The shortcut to set the end of the work area (option ] ) does nothing.
Does anyone know if the shortcut to end a work area should be different?
I am strictly an Elements Windows user, but I would offer these comments to you with Premiere Elements 14/14.1 Mac.
Please check out the following Adobe Premiere Elements Forum thread to determine if it holds the answer to your question
According to petera in that thread
Pressing the far lower right "fn" key and using the left and right arrow keys on the opposite side
of the keyboard are the mac version of home and end keys.
Pressing "fn" plus left arrow moves the cursor to the Fn beginning,
and "fn" plus right arrow moves the cursor to the Fn end.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
Add On...just curious..does Premiere Elements 14/14.1 come with Edit Menu/Keyboard Customization? If so, what is the shortcut listed for the command "Go to Timeline/Clip End" under Application and the Help category?
