I have been using Adobe Suite on my Windows PC but have recently purchased a new Mac Book Pro. I had purchased a hardcopy of Adobe Creative Suite 5 Premium for Mac in 2010, but by Mac Book at the time was stolen and I replaced it with the Windows PC. If the serial number for that copy of ASP is still registered under my account, am I able to download and use Adobe Suite on my new Mac under my existing Creative Cloud subscription?
One more thing: Maybe I could just install the Adobe Creative Suite 5 on my new Mac which I'd purchased a hardcopy of (?) ... If I had it. Unfortunately, I have misplaced the installation disk at some point in the last 3 and a half years.
When you purchase perpetual Creative Suite Software, it is either for PC or Mac. CS6 is eligible for a platform swap, but older versions are not,.
Having a version of Creative Suite does not automatically provide you a membership to Creative Cloud though. You can, however, purchase a membership that allows you to use it on both PC and Mac here: Creative Cloud pricing and membership plans | Adobe Creative Cloud
