Could you please let me know if you have the latest version of Lightroom 6 on the computer ?
Also which version of Windows are you working on ?
The error that you are getting, is it with particularly with this Catalog or any catalog ?
What is the location of the Folder , is it on the Internal Drive of computer, or external drive ?
Windows 10 Pro x64 build 10586 with 16 GB RAM
I only have this catalog, so I can't test on another one. The catalog is on my C drive (SSD drive) and it's 2,07 GB in size
Folder is sored on an external USB3 2TB hard disk. (location is H:\Mes Photos Voyages\2015\Lumière d'un Siècle - Gembloux - 11.09.2015) I'd like it to show in the 2015 folder like all my other pictures previously imported. I don't know why they are not automatically show in the 2015 folder. All my previous imports during this year diplays automatically in the right folder.
It doesn't work:
It says the folder already exists and ask to merge it
But it's not working.
I click on Merge and it's moved in "Dummy Images" folder => So in LR I have "Dummy Images\Projection 1" and "Dummy Images\Projection 2"
After, I click on the projection 1 folder and select the good place on my USB drive: "H:\Mes Photos Voyages\2015\Lumière d'un Siècle - Gembloux - 11.09.2015\Projection 1", after that LR show the folder "Projection 1" in the bottom of List, I tick "Show Parent Folder", now it shows "Lumière d'un Siècle - Gembloux - 11.09.2015\Projection 1", I then click again on "Show Parent folder" to display it in the 2015 folder and SQL error....
The is no tool to check the database integrity?????
No solutions ????
Maybe run some UPDATE queries on the database (but may be very dangerous)?????
After making a backup of your current catalog, you could try File > Optimize Catalog, but I think that's unlikely to fix the problem. You've clearly encountered a bug in LR, and no amount of preprogrammed integrity checking can fully protect and correct arbitrarily bad bugs.
Another thing to try: Make a new LR catalog, and then do File > Import From Another Catalog to import from the original into the new.
