Since the last update to CC 2015 about a month ago, I have sporadically received a message after opening Photoshop CC 2015 that "Some features were disabled due to problems with the GPU, please check manufacturer's website for updated driver."
However, my GPU is a AMD Radeon HD 5000 Series with 4GB ram, 1 real and 3 virtual and per the attached diagnostic the driver dated 11/4/15 is up to date. I can't seem to find which features are disabled, 3D and Filters all look functional. Any ideas on how to check to see which features are disabled and what the problem might be?
Thanks, Larry Lato
Here is a FAQ about graphics processors and Photoshop/Lightroom. Make sure your graphics driver is up-to-date. If that doesn't solve the problem then don't worry about it. The GPU mainly affects performance on computers utilizing the new high-resolution monitors.
Well according to the FAQ my GPU is supported and I have verified driver is current. Guess I won't worry about it unless I come across some missing functionality at a later date. Thanks very much Jim Hess.
