Hi trey grier,
Could you please let me know if the issue happens with all the files that you export from Lightroom ?
Also in which file format are you exporting the images from Lightroom ?
Could you please attach a screen shot of the image exported from Lightroom ?
Thanks for the reply. The first image is an example of what is now showing in my collection in LR. The second image is how it came out in my previous import a couple of months ago. The issue isn't just importing the image, it looks like this period now as well as the other images I have in this collection all have similar issues. I exported both in sRGB jpeg.
The images you posted are very small, and they look identical. Can you post bigger images, big enough to show the problem? Edit: Preferably at 1:1 (100%)
Are you seeing this in Lightroom, or in exported images, or in both?
What are your export settings? (especially File settings and Image sizing)
Here is a larger image. In the bottom right corner you will see where the legs of the chair and portion of the rug are duplicated. I am seeing this in lightroom prior to export as well as after export. I have exported some other images and do not have this issue so I don't think it is solely an export problem.
OK, I see it now, even in the small images - I was expecting something in the details.
I have never seen anything like this. A shot in the dark, but you could try disabling the GPU. Go to Edit > Preferences > Performance, and uncheck Use graphics processor. Let me know if that helps.
Looks to me like you by accident set up a clone stamp (dust removal thingie). You should go into Develop on that image and check the spot removal tool if there are no spot removals turned on. This happens with accidental image synchronizations or accidental clicks sometimes.
