The problem is with your computer hardware... I would say RAM so check that first. That is why it is ok on the other computer
Lightroom only reads files so cannot corrupt but is processing raw files is RAM intensive and shows up errors.
You are not the first this week with this issue...
Thanks for the response, it's fairly new ram (less than 2 weeks old) in a new iMac.
Even more reason, last one was a Mac too...... could even be dirty connection. Macs are just as prone to this.... I use Macs!!
Will reinstall the ram and see if that helps. Thanks
Just to adding another step: Turning off the Graphics Processor in Lightroom Preferences.
Go to Lightroom Preferences from the Edit menu
Click on Performance tab
Uncheck the Graphics Processor
Let us know if that helps.
I tired the graphics processor option and no change.
It seems to occur during the convert to DNG process, however plugging the SD card into my computer directly rather than the reader seems to have fixed the issue. However, during the coversion process the corruption occured but then corrected itself. Oddly this only happens with ISO 12800 images and not more "normal" ISOs.
