Are the images from the same camera?
What camera make and model?
What version of Lightroom?
What operating system?
Any error messages?
Check the Destination you have select to Copy the images to. If you are on a Mac and had a recent OS X update installed it might of changed the permissions on the folder you now have selected.
The images are from the same camera.
It is a canon D7
Lightroom version 9.1, I think.
I thought my operating system was OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.1
It says Sub folders are not included. Then the images are greyed out & I can't select them for download. However I have gotten that error before & it was fine to get the sub folder & select the images in it.
I don't know why it will not let me this time. I shut down Light room & reopened it already. Maybe I need to restart the whole computer?
I looked up the problem & it said to do that but them I couldn't find the path to do it with the online institutions. Do you know how please? Thanks!
IIRC there was an update to El Capitan to 10.11.2. Could this possible gotten installed without you realizing it?
Are you connecting the camera to the computer? If you are try taking the card out of the camera and putting that in either the SD card slot on your Mac or in a SD card reader connected to your Mac by USB.
I am using a USB card reader. The one I always use. I could have had an update to my computer. But it shows I have version 10.11.1 Thanks!
Greyed out images mean the photos have previously been imported into Lightroom and so there's no point to importing them again. Just go to the Library Module, find the photos and then make use of them.
DJ Paige - You are right! I had downloaded them already & had forgot since I had not put them in the folder with the rest of the photos from the same event so I got thrown off. Thank you so much!!
